Programme
Departure from Sofia Airport at 21:40 on Lufthansa flight LH 1703 to Munich (air tickets are outside the package price). Landing at 15:10 and continuation to South Africa at 19:30. Overnight on the plane.
Arrival at O.R. airport. Tambo in Johannesburg at 07:05. Welcome and start of a panoramic bus tour of central Johannesburg. Free time for lunch is provided during the tour. Next, visit Soweto, the largest suburb in South Africa, famous since apartheid and associated with the name of Nelson Mandela.
Accommodation in Indaba Hotel, Conference Centre & Spa 4*, located in Sandton, a small satellite town of Johannesburg, with a magnificent view of the majestic mountain slopes of the Magaliesberg Mountains, with a large garden and a cosy atmosphere. Free time to relax.
Boma dinner included at the hotel's Chief's Boma Restaurant.
Breakfast and depart for a full day excursion in the Johannesburg and Pretoria area. Visit to the Reserve Attraction Park Lion & Safari Park for an exciting panoramic bus tour among lions, cheetahs, hyenas and wild dogs led by experienced local rangers. An unforgettable experience in the heart of South Africa. Next, explore the ethnographic African village of Lesidi, where you will be introduced to the lifestyle, culture and rituals of various local tribes - the Pedi, Zulu, Ndebele, Sotto and warrior Xhosa. Included lunch at the village restaurant with traditional African dishes.
Continue to Pretoria - the administrative capital of South Africa, also called the “City of Jacarandas”. City tour and photo stop at the Parliament and the Presidency - Union Buildings, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the whole city. Next, visit the Voortrekker Memorial Complex associated with the historical moment of the migration of the first Dutch settlers to the area. Return to Johannesburg. Free time for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast. Departure from Johannesburg by flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Meet, transfer and check in Victoria Falls Oasis Resort, located in the top center of the city. Time for relaxation.
A sunset cruise follows on the Zambezi River, the fourth largest river in Africa, which rises from the Lunda Plateau in northwestern Zambia and passes through 5 other countries, emptying into the Indian Ocean. A wonderful experience full of romance and beauty. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight included.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by bus (90 km) to Chobe National Park, Botswana.
The full-day excursion includes a barge cruise on the calm waters of the Chobe River, a jeep safari through the reserve, and an included lunch at a lodge on the banks of the river. During the jeep safari, led by a local ranger, you will encounter large herds of elephant, African buffalo, giraffe, zebra, hippo and if you are lucky lion and leopard.
Return to the hotel and free time. Overnight.
Breakfast. Today is our panoramic tour of Victoria Falls, first described in 1855 by the great traveller and explorer David Livingstone as the most divine sight he had ever seen. The Falls still amaze today with their power and beauty. The emerald waters of the Zambezi River tumble down a 120-metre precipice and crash into the opposite cliff in thousands of splashes of water. Below, tens of metres deep, the raging water is pinned down by the two high walls of the gorge and continues its journey under a multitude of arches that appear and disappear. At this time of year the waterfall is at its fullest and you will feel the full force of this element! A raincoat will be provided on site for you to use during your tour of the National Park.
Free time for lunch and stroll in the town and visit the local market of handmade souvenirs.
Optional helicopter flight over the waterfall, lion walk, cheetah walk or elephant ride, fishing, visit to a crocodile farm and more. In the evening you can optionally visit a traditional African show with a boma dinner, where you can taste crocodile meat and other local specialties, to the sounds of African rhythms. Return to the hotel and overnight.
Breakfast and free time until lunch. Transfer to airport for flight to Cape Town. Arrival in Cape Town, welcome and transfer to hotel Pullman Cape Town City Centre 5*, located in the top center of the city. After check-in - a walk in the most interesting part of the city for tourists - the lively Victoria & Alfred Waterfront area, where there is an opportunity to hear live Negro Dixieland. Delicious seafood delicacies are available in numerous seafood restaurants in the area. Here you will have the opportunity to visit the shopping centre of the most famous jewellery company Shimansky Jewellery, where diamond jewellery with guaranteed provenance is available, including the unique „Table Mountain“ ring. Free time for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, a full day program beginning with a panoramic tour of Cape Town, the colorful Bo-Kaap district, the Parliament building, which meets here from January to June, and the gardens of the former Dutch East India Company. Then there is a cable car ride to Table Mountain. (depending on weather conditions this excursion will be completed on the day with the best visibility) and to see one of the best views in the world - the mountains now hiding in clouds, now bathed in bright light. Above you can see unique flowers, typical only for this corner of the planet. Beautiful paths lead to panoramic platforms, as if sculpted by nature on purpose, from where you can enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic coast and Cape Town. Our program continues with a trip to Stellenbosch, South Africa's most famous wine producing region. Settled in the 17th century by Huguenots seeking salvation after their persecution in Europe, Stellenbosch has preserved not only the architectural style of the first French settlers, but also their traditions of growing vines and making premium wines.
Followed by lunch and fine wine tasting at the best wine estate in the Stellenbosch area - Lanzerac Estate, with a unique historical atmosphere dating back to 1692. Lunch included at the estate. Walking tour of the beautiful town of Stellenbosch with a visit to the local ethnographic museum. Return to Cape Town.
Breakfast. Full day excursion to Cape Peninsula (about 65 km from Cape Town), where Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point are located. On the way we will stop in the bay of the fishing port Hout Bay and take a boat cruise to Duiker Island where you will observe the colony of wild Cape fur seals in their beautiful natural habitat. We will then continue south along the scenic 9km Chapmans Peak Road, following the curves of the Atlantic coastline, with its majestic landscapes. Visit the Cape of Good Hope, known as the most south-westerly point on the African continent and ascend by rail to Cape Point. The feeling of being on the edge of the world and the boundless expanse of the sea give that sense of freedom of spirit that makes a place unforgettable! Lunch included at Cape Point National Park's most attractive restaurant, Two Oceans, with a panoramic terrace and spectacular views from high above the ocean.
Next, visit Boulders Beach and observe from close proximity the colony of „Ochilati penguins“ that live and nest here. On the way back to Cape Town, we will stop to explore the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, spread over 528 hectares, of which about 40 hectares are cultivated and preserve about 9,000 species out of a total of 22,000 plant species of South African plants, the most characteristic of which is the beautiful Royal Protea, the national symbol of South Africa.
In the evening, stroll along the beautiful waterfront promenade, with its many restaurants and outdoor stage for live concerts.
Breakfast and free time. Afternoon transfer to the airport for flight LH 577 to Frankfurt at 18:45. Overnight on the plane.
Landing in Frankfurt at 05:35 local time and continuation to Sofia at 10:30 (air tickets are outside the package price). Landing in Sofia at 13:45.

- Trip cancellation and trip interruption insurance for reasons beyond the customer's control with covered risks in connection with COVID-19.
