Our journey to the faraway country begins in cosmopolitan Tokyo, the centre of the „Japanese economic miracle”. Over a period of 400 years, the small fishing village of Edo became a city of millions with many faces. We will also explore the ancient temples of Kamakura /UNESCO/
, part of the Fuji-Hakone-Itsu National Park and we will climb to the 5th station of the sacred Mount Fuji. The express Shinkansen (bullet train) will take us to the old imperial capital of Kyoto, which has preserved its rich historical and cultural heritage - more than 1,500 temples and shrines! The city remained the capital of Japan for 1100 years, during which the country flourished. We will visit the multi-faceted Osaka, which amazes with its tall skyscrapers and at the same time with such a traditional view of the streets!
Our journey will continue to South Korea, where the energy-filled markets and business centres are mixed with the tradition and tranquillity of Buddhist temples to give a unique balance and completeness to this part of the world. This is the richness ofSouth Korea - contrasts tickling the curiosity of visitors, combined with amazing cuisine, authentic crafts and art.
