The Angkor complex remained buried and forgotten in the jungles for a long time, only to be rediscovered in the 20th century and astound the world with its grandeur. An example of ancient architecture, Angkor Wat also became a symbol of Cambodia, even appearing on the country's national flag. It took several decades to build and detailed bas-reliefs cover its outer wall throughout, telling the story of the Khmer people and their way of life.
Lunch included at a local restaurant.
The following is a tour of the temple Ta Prom, built in the late 12th century as a Buddhist monastery and university. With its unique views of ancient ruins wrapped mercilessly by ficus stranglers, Ta Prohm served as the setting for the Hollywood film Tomb Raider. Unlike most temples in Cambodia, a complete restoration here is impossible without affecting the huge trees that have literally taken root in the temple's galleries and corridors, creating a unique atmosphere and making it a popular spot for tourists.
Return to the hotel and free time. You can spend your time by the hotel pool or indulge in walking and shopping in the city centre.
For those who pre-register, dinner with show of Apsari dancers at a local restaurant.

To this day, Saigon is Vietnam's largest economic, commercial and cultural centre.
The tour visits the former palace building (outside), partially destroyed during the war but nevertheless a magnificent example of 1960s architecture; Notre Dame Cathedral, towering majestically in the government quarter in the city centre; the Central Post Office building, one of Saigon's historic buildings from the late 19th century, designed by Gustave Eiffel himself; the Opera House (outside) with its ornate facade, modeled after the Petit Palais in Paris. Afternoon at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight
