with Grab or Bolt is often cheaper than local taxis. It works just like Uber. Just download both apps, compare prices for your route and make sure you have the data on your phone to use them.

The electrical contacts

in Bangkok usually have two round sockets, suitable for most European and Asian appliances as well as the flat sockets of the USA and Japan. The standard voltage is 220 volts.
